Amazing place with free wi-fi in rooms, tv, and an electric kettle. The staff helped me find my lost bracelet during my first stay, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend it for a holiday.

The staff members where amicable, we received terrific service. The food was brilliant, with a good choice of options.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were very rude.

We were very grateful to the Guards Hotel for giving us breakfast even after hours and letting us shower even though we arrived half an hour before check-out time due to a snag in our travels.

Everything about this reasonably priced hotel was amazing. The staff team was dog friendly and fairly friendly. The room was spotless and airy with a shower. All the services were good. Had the option to leave my car on site. I liked the property's music bar. You guys made my stay really lovely.

The location is very good, just opposite to the Haymarket rail station and very close to the EICC.

Excellent proximity to the tram and bus stops makes travel effortless. Only a two-minute stroll from the tram station means direct access to the airport.
The shower pressure felt lackluster. Adjusting the temperature was a gamble. My room had a window that didn't shut properly, letting in a significant chill and noise. The bathroom amenities fell short-no shampoo except a small bar of soap, and the overall cleanliness left something to be desired, with marks on walls that suggested neglect. Some guests might not mind the moderately uncomfortable mattresses, but I found them less than ideal for a restful night's sleep. Housekeeping was inconsistent, one day they changed the sheets but failed to replace the used cups. For the price, I expected more overall polish and attention to detail, especially in such a popular area.

Very good hotel but you now need to bring the reception area upto the same stangard as the rooms; remember you only get one chance to make a first impression
Not a complaint but curtains that close.

We liked the easy distance from Princes Street. The use of the guards club for me being ex military was great as I met an old army friend who I served with in the Gordon Highlanders. I also met another ex soldier from the Argyles who I also new.We all had a great laugh over a few drinks.
All was okay for us.

Great location and friendly staff
The hotel is great location just across from Haymarket Station. The staff were friendly and provided great recommendations for nearby eateries. The uncomfortable mattress detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.
